Housing is a right, not a privilege: Access to safe, secure, and affordable housing is a fundamental human right for all Australians, yet it has increasingly become a privilege. We need policies that ensure housing is accessible to everyone, regardless of income or background. We must prioritize the development of more affordable homes as well as rethink tax policies that favour property hoarding.
